Today’s Best Hip Hop Christmas Songs Starring Eric Bellinger, Gucci Mane

The holidays are not to be looked over when it comes to hip hop. Since the most iconic hip hop Christmas song “Christmas in Hollis” by Run-DMC, the rap game makes adamant attempts every year to continue the tradition. Here’s a compilation of some of 2016’s best hip hop Christmas songs (including the timeless Run-DMC track). Happy Holidays!

The first track on this list comes from Los Angeles R&B singer, Eric Bellinger. Last year he dropped Your Favorite Christmas Songs – a project that consisted of remixed Christmas classics. This year, he dropped the standalone track “Sex for Christmas”, the ultimate gift Eric Bellinger can offer to the Christmas lovebirds.

Following Eric Bellinger comes a sentimental track titled “All I Want for Christmas” by Dej Loaf. This isn’t the typical Loaf tracks like “Back Up” or “Try Me”, so you’ll get a more mellow-toned instrumental with lyrics that expresses her love for family and friends.

Switching back to more hyped Christmas singles, B.O.B. quietly unwrapped “Tis the Season” from his 2016 project Don’t Call it A Christmas Album to the hip hop community. The track combines ever-popularizing trap beats and a stripped down verse from the No Genre Label CEO.

Last but not least, Gucci Mane takes a ‘W’ for the contagious “St. Brick Intro” on a Zaytoven beat that samples “Jingle Bells”. However, Gucci Mane’s The Return of East Atlanta Santa doesn’t contain any other Christmas inspired tracks. If you’re wanting more gifts from Gucci, don’t expect it to be similar to “St. Brick Intro”.
