The night started off with the opening act C5, a rapper from Oakland, California who found success in his Dorm Flow 2 mixtape in the Cal State Dominguez Hills dorms. Unfortunately, Kehlani wasn’t able to perform due to sickness, but Kap G and Belly both lit up the stage with their respective hit singles in “Girlfriend” and “Might Not”.

Ty Dolla $ign really got the Forum hyped when he brought out multiple surprise guests to help him out on stage, including TeeCee on “Only Right”. He then passed the momentum over to YG, with a stellar performance in “Why You Always Hatin” and “Fdt”, and ended with Hip Hop legends Cam’ron and Juelz Santana with “Oh Boy”. Finally, he brought out Wiz Khalifa for “Pull Up” and “Blase”.

During Bryson Tiller’s set we were given a surprise when Big Sean came out to join him. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper performed his new single “Bounce Back”, “Play No Games” and “I Don’t F**k With You.” You can imagine how crazy it was, as everyone’s middle fingers were up in the air.

Finally, Chance the Rapper took the stage and completed his verse of “Ultralight Beam” to Kanye’s performances of the song at the Forum in previous days. Unfortunately, due to undisclosed circumstances, Chano mimicked his mentor’s last night at the Forum and left halfway through his set.

However, Usher’s performance became something special for the Real Show. He was adamant on recalling his old hits like “Burn”, “Caught Up”, and “Climax” but his special guest appearance in Chris Brown shifted the momentum from mellow to straight hype.

The moment this happened it was as if my dreams were being fulfilled all in one night. Together they performed “Back To Sleep” and Chris Brown continued to take the crowd by storm by singing “Ayo” and “Loyal.” Usher then returned back to the stage and rejoined Chris as they both sang “New Flame” and “Love in This Club” before Chris left the stage.

But to top it all off, Usher needed to perform his current hit single “No Limit”. Although many anticipated a Young Thug guest appearance, the Atlanta superstar decided to recall Hip Hop legend Master P, and ended the show with his 2004 hit “Yeah”.

It was a full house at the Forum this past Saturday with amazing artists in the house. You may have missed out or you may just want to relive it. Of course, social media has you covered so you can check out #RealShowLA to review the night.
