Meet The Guys Behind Some TDE’s Top Music Videos: Psycho Films

A few weeks ago when SZA and Kendrick Lamar simultaneously dropped the visuals for “The Weekend” and “LOVE” we did a few Instagram stories praising them and their label Top Dawg Entertainment for their creativeness and blatant quality.

More recently SiR, one of TDE’s fresher faces, premiered his visuals for his song featuring ScHoolboy Q titled “Something Foreign”. The simple yet ire video is just another illustration of the TDE conceptual vision.

A major component to this vision is who TDE chooses to direct and produce for them, of course The Little Homies aka TDE President Dave Free is involved with most of the visual projects coming out of the label, but who else is there to help?

Psycho Films.

A Los Angeles based production and management company composed of a few guys who have a passion for film and an eye for creating. The company’s main goal is to empower the artist and be the executor of their ideas, and that’s exactly why labels like TDE keep coming back. Their work goes beyond regular music videos. This is feature film-level of originality; a match made in music heaven.

Just check out the art they’ve created with TDE below:

Remember Psycho Films doesn’t end here, they’ve worked with numerous hip hop artists and plan to go beyond to feature films! So stay tuned because they #MakeDopeShit

My advice; listen to 'To Pimp A Butterfly' on vinyl and let it change your life for the better.
