Formerly known as Blaison Maven, Nana rebrands himself to his birth name (which means “King” in his parents’ native Ghanaian tribe of Ashanti), to provide authenticity with every track he releases. His first single of 2018 called “Problems” does just that, as the Crenshaw-native materializes his livelihood in South Los Angeles in the music video:
