Tyler, the Creator’s ‘Cherry Bomb The Documentary’ Trailer Surfaces

Illegal Civilization is a brand that emanates from a skate crew that makes videos and clothes. Mikey, a member from the brand, made a 45-minute documentary about Tyler the Creator’s making of Cherry Bomb. During the 2016 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival guests were able to watch 10 minutes of the film ‘Cherry Bomb The Documentary’ if they walked towards the IC booth.

Within the documentary Illegal Civilization offers a behind the scenes look at the making of the track “Two Seater.” The video features Tyler working alongside a professional string section in Hans Zimmer’s studio. At the end of the trailer, Tyler fanboys over meeting Han Zimmer, who is known for his movie scores in Spiderman, Despicable Me and Inception.

There is currently two documentary trailers and are both available on youtube but the official screening is set on January 29, which will also feature a Q&A with Tyler and Mikey Alfred at 251 S Main St, Los Angeles, CA.

As quoted from their Youtube channel:

“January 30th DVD’s will go on live on the IC site. We produced this documentary to show kids that no matter how big of an artists you become it still takes hard work and putting yourself out there to make things happen.”
