We just lost a young artist who was supposed to be one of the greats. XXXTentacion was just pronounced dead. On Monday, June 18th the rapper was shopping for motorcycles in South Florida when an unidentified gunman pulled up to his vehicle. Witnesses said they heard multiple gunshots and saw the suspect retreat with a Louis Vuitton bag in a black Dodge Journey.
The 20 year old was immediately rushed to the hospital and was confirmed dead by Broward Country Sheriff.
Hip Hop responded with nothing but love for the “SAD!” rapper. Between artists tweeting their prayers, Kanye West responded with the thought that X was an inspiration to him. KYLE even tweeted that X was one of the good guys in the world.
rest in peace 🙏🙏🙏 I never told you how much you inspired me when you were here thank you for existing pic.twitter.com/QU7DR3Ghbw

This got me fucked up. RIP X. Enormous talent and limitless potential and a strong desire to be a better person. God bless his family, friends and fans.

Though X was to be on trail for domestic violence against his pregnant girlfriend, the rapper was about self-acceptance, his community, and essentially was attempting to turn his life around.
His final post prepped for a charity event he was going to host in Florida as per his Instagram story.
No matter what the case is, it’s saddening to see someone die from something as simple as a Louis Vuitton bag. And for those who look at him for his acts in the past, just consider the fact that the guy was trying to change his life and encouraging others to learn from his mistakes.
It took a powerful message and enough fans who believed in that message to make his sophomore album Question Mark debut at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 Charts. Rest In Peace XXXTentacion.
