The rap game is either punishing or friendly to its newcomers depending on one thing: credibility. It’s natural to see today’s greats introduce a new set of talent to the world, but these new talents may have been under their noses the entire time.

When listening to ScHoolboy Q’s Blank Face EP, an interesting feature on “Tookie Knows II: Part (2)” known as T.F emerges as another son of Los Angeles who’s ready to make noise. But the question remains, who is T.F?
Sources from Builders International confirmed Mychal Hatch aka T.F to be a good friend of TDE’s ScHoolboy Q. Before spitting a similar flow to follow along ScHoolboy Q and Traffic’s verses, T.F’s earliest single — founded by The Lunch Table — emanates from SoundCloud titled “I’m T.F”, an introduction to the Los Angeles rapper made two years ago.
Since then, the Angeleno rapper released more singles, including “Only On The Killa”, which is accompanied with a music video.
Diving into the latter half of 2015 and beginning of 2016, T.F was a guest feature on G. Perico’s “Bout It” and T-Swishers’ “The Corner”.
One thing to note after acquiring a sense of T.F’s skill is the potential he’s exemplified throughout the years. It’s easy to assume his connections in the industry will set his future in the game. However, it’s the growth, energy, and capabilities he has on the microphone that will eventually lead him to the spotlight. In other words, he doesn’t need endorsements from ScHoolboy Q or TDE to know he’s got skill; he’s just got it.
Stay tuned on more from T.F in the near future. He’ll be making a lot of noise.
