On one of Southern California’s stormiest days in recent years, we recently sat down with R&B duo RKCB, and the energy and vibes at BMG Studios in Los Angeles, was everything but gloomy.

Fresh off their dope performance on the big stage at Air & Style at Exposition Park, alongside big ticket acts like Major Lazer, Atmosphere, Flume and YG, the dynamic duo of Riley Knapp and Casey Barth chatted with us in an exclusive radio interview for The Lunch Table. From the bat, both guys carried a very cool and chill demeanor, but once we got to talking, musical elevation took place.

We talked about their musical influences from the pioneers of R&B and Soul, Stevie Wonder to Marvin Gaye, and what sets themselves apart from other “R&B/Soul” artists: their inclusion of Electronic sounds delicately chosen and added to their smooth, soulful vocals.
