Rich Homie Quan was — and still very may be — in hot water following a performance he gave Monday night at the VHI Hip-Hop Honors, specifically for the part where he completely butchered The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Get Money” verse. Nearly 24 hours later, Rich Homie Quan finally spoke out about his lyrical mishap on Instagram, claiming technical difficulties paired with nervousness were to blame. Read his full apology below.

Many Internet-goes are not yet ready to forgive Rich Homie Quan. Regardless, Lil’ Kim, the woman he shared the stage with Monday Night at the Hip-Hop Honors, not only publicly forgave him but had his back on his technical issues claim.
