J. Cole – KOD (Album Review) – This Could Be Cole’s Best Project

J. Cole‘s 5th studio album KOD might just be his best work to date. Yes, I’m saying it might be better than his double platinum, no features LP 2014 Forest Hills Drive, and his critically acclaimed 4 Your Eyez Only; and best believe I love those albums.

The Dreamville founder’s 2018 release examines addiction and its effect on both kids and adults alike. Addiction materializes into many forms: money, sex, drugs, and even home. Sometimes we even create alter egos (like Cole did kiLL Edward) to make sense of our vices.
