J. Cole is grabbing your Eyez and attention despite Coachella 2018 occurring this weekend. The Dreamville rapper posted on Twitter and Instagram an image portraying what seems to be an exclusive concert at the Gramercy Theater in New York.
Jermaine later tweeted “KOD 4/20” and people have already speculated as to what the acronym stands for: King Overdose, King of Drugs, or King of Demons.

With the album releasing on the annual marijuana smokers day, King Overdose or King of Drugs seems like the most reasonable album title. Though Cole didn’t live the life of a drug dealer, he casually relates his raps to drugs as they are addicting to listen to.
One question the staff is asking is, will he attempt to pull off another Double Platinum, No Features opus? The last time J. Cole accomplished this feat was for 2014 Forest Hills Drive.
Though he didn’t acquire the same accolade for his 2016 album 4 Your Eyez Only, the entirety of the 10-track opus – that surrounded fatherhood and police brutality – debuted in the Top 40 of Billboard 100 and it went on to become a Platinum album in April 2017.
