Batter up! Once again, the food world and hip hop culture merge into one. Introducing The Hip Hop Chip Shop serving a variety of chips through a 90’s themed hip hop trailer.
Perched at festivals, events, or on the streets of MediaCityUK on the outskirts of Manchester, The Hip Hop Chip Shop creates an experience for fish and chip lovers who also enjoy hip hop. What makes this foodie spot so intriguing is the fact that the trailer design literally looks like a huge 90’s boom box. The menu also draws your eyes as well as your tastebuds.
On the menu, a few of the creative dishes: Feastie Boys (battered fish biters, chips, minty mushy peas, tartare sauce), Shell L Cool J Burger (Louisiana spiced crabcake, battered smoky bacon, spicy ‘slaw, brioche bun, chips), DJ Kool Jerk (jerk batter fish, battered plantain, scotch bonnet pickled pepper), and more.
Any hip hop head will take a double look when seeing The Hip Hop Chip Shop out on the streets. They can be spotted Monday through Friday from 12 PM – 2:30 PM at MediaCityUK.
