The album starts off with “Fly Away” and Daz describes his influences, and giving props to the legends who paved the way for his rap career.
In African Goddess you can get his rendition of his remix from Ludacris’ “Pimpin’ All Over the World”, and a reminder of Pharrell’s “Beautiful” in the rhythmic dance song “Come Again”.
The singles from the album include “Angel”, “Vibe With Me”, and “Luv Ya” – which was featured on EARMILK as one of their favorite BBQ summer jams.
“I am aiming to spread positivity and get people grooving during this rough stretch in Memphis, as well as the world in general,” Daz states. “Crime has been crazy, and I want to give people something to dance to. LIFTED is something they can look forward to bumpin’.”
With summer cookouts and pool parties approaching for summer 2016, this is a project that should definitely be on your playlist.
